On the day of the ceremony, the groom is dressed in a traditional Nepali wear ‘Daura suruwal’ with ‘Tika’ in the forehead, flower and ‘Dubo’ grass garland in the neck and ‘Khukuri’ in the waist. And the bride is dressed in red coloured saari-cholo, chura, tika, and is decorated with golden ornaments and precious gems. The groom accompanied by ‘Jantis’ (groom’s friends and family) go to the marriage venue dancing in the traditional music from ‘Panche Baaja’ (typical Nepali musical instrument).
