Hello! Why don't you use your daily cup (a tall, glass) and enjoy it with Japanese simple style?（If you don't have the equipments,just watching my demonstration is OK,too) During the session, the arrangement demonstration will be held in a Japanese room (hanging scroll, Japanese traditional sliding doors)of my house. So, you'll feel as if you visit your Japanese friend's house! I also will introduce you to my living beautiful cities, Kyoto and Nara as a professional certified Kyoto-city guide with beautiful scenic pictures. You will be able to learn the arrangement technique and have many 'Beauty of Japan' experiences by my 'only an hour' experience.

The Japanese Tea Ceremony Workshop, theory and practice, is conducted by licensed tea masters and is unique in Kyoto. It is set in the Grand Tea Room inside the Jotokuji Temple just 3 minutes walk from Gojo station, or 15 minutes walk from Kyoto station. The ceremony starts with a tour of the Temple followed by the explanation of the history and cultural importance of the Japanese Tea Ceremony. It is educational and enable you to understand the modesty of the Japanese character. The artistic ceremony is performed by the licensed Tea Master and many visitors refer to it as mesmerising. You will then practice the making of the matcha tea by yourself under the guidance of the Tea Master. You will receive a souvenir certificate of attendance after about two weeks.

The miniature culture is one of famous Japanese culture. And It is easy to find fake food when you pass the restaurants outside. It is also Japanese culture. This activity is like a Mix of Both culture. If you think you would be very into this as you are not crafty person, please do not worry about that, you could make the food model of Mini Ramen. This workshop is very fun and you could get the unique souvenir and experience for you.

You will take my workshop in a temple in Kyoto city which has 800 years of history. The temple is small but it has a charm and I think you will enjoy just being there. I have been learning traditional Calligraphy, but also make my own Calligraphy art. You will get to know both basic and artistic parts of Calligraphy from my workshop.

Isn't it exciting if you can wear it by yourself and go to summer festivals. But just one problem is it’s so different from western style costumes. Most of people have no idea how to wear it. But no worrires. I’ll teach you how to wear it and once you learn it, you’ll find out it’s much easier to wear than it looks

This plan gives you a tea ceremony experience with antique kimonos. We guide you around Katsura Imperial villa walking through the local areas in English. For tea ceremony, we use high quality MATCHA tea leaves, which won first prize at the competition of all Japan in 2019.

Visitors to Kyoto quickly realize how crowded the city’s famous temples are. Your guide, a twenty-five year resident of Japan, is American-born Buddhist priest and scholar Rev. Dr. Brian Victoria. Dr. Victoria will introduce you to the fascinating history of this temple together with the doctrines and iconography of the True Pure Land sect of Buddhism with which it is affiliated. Following your visit to Higashi Honganji, the tour moves to nearby Shosei-en, a large, temple-affiliated, traditional Japanese garden, complete with ponds and tea houses. Dr. Victoria will explain the history of Japanese gardens and tea houses as well as answer any questions you may have about Buddhist beliefs and practices in general.
