Atitsey Monastery, in the region of Lamayuru, is a place whose roots of spirituality goes back to the days of Naropa, the Indian Buddhist Mahasiddha. Naropa was also a contemporary of Atiśa, the Tibetan Buddhist Mahasiddha. The sense of spirituality since back then has been continued till today. On this journey to Atitsey Monastery, we will stopover at a beautiful spot of the river confluence. The confluence shows the clear distinguishing colors of Indus and Zanskar Rivers.
