Most Beautiful Mountain In The World: Climbing Alpamayo (8 days)
Alpamayo mountain is one of the most beautiful ice faces of the Andes. It is located more remotely than most other peaks in Cordillera Blanca, as the hike to the BC takes 2-3 days (see below). In the first map of Cordillera Blanca from 1932 Alpamayo was not indicated at all! Eventually it was climbed for the first time in 1957 by a German expedition via the N ridge.
Nowadays Alpamayo mountain is well-known and was even elected the most beautiful mountain in the world. It is not the difficulty that inspires the climbers but it’s magnificent setting among the everlasting snowcapes of the Cordilliera Blanca, 6000 meters above sea level.

Expedition Santa Cruz Trek, Climbing Pisco and Chopicalqui - 12 Days
Chopicalqui is sometimes dubbed the easiest 6000 peak in the Cordillera Blanca, with good reason as its south-west ridge route is only rated around AD. This makes it very popular and it can be crowded at times. However, more than one party has been turned around by snow up to the chest on the last portions of the climb, and the route gets out of condition after each heavy snowfall.
Due to its proximity to the two Huascaran peaks, Chopicalqui can seem less significant than actual height would warrant, especially when seen from Huaraz. It is sometimes called the Eastern Huascaran summit.
The climb offers spectacular views of neighboring summits Huandoy, Chacraraju, Pisco and Huascaran, and most of the range is visible from the summit.

Highest Tropical Mountain In South America: Climbing Huascaran (7 days)
Together with Chopicalqui, Huascaran Sur and Norte form the Huascaran massif. Huascaran Sur is the highest mountain in the Cordillera Blanca as well as in whole Peru and consequently quite popular. The south summit is 113 meters higher than its (much less frequented) northern twin. The first ascent to H. Sur took place in 1932 by a German-Austrian expedition, whereas H. Norte is said to be climbed as early as 1908 by Annie Peck, an American schoolmistress.
The normal route to H. South (via Garganta and the NW-face) is rated PD. The crux of the route is climbing the everchanging Garganta icefall to the camp 2 at 5900 meters. The W-face (the shield, D+) can be gained from the ascent to Garganta, too. Moreover there are lots of very hard (TD, ED) lines on the NE and E face of H. Sur.
