How to Get There
Chave-Mestra is in the small city of Gramado and is centrally located, on Avenida Borges de Medeiros, within easy walking distance of many hotels and attractions. To reach Gramado, take the scenic Romantic Route (Rota Romântica), which runs through 13 municipalities in the mountainous Gaucho Highlands (Serra Gaúcha).
When to Get There
Chave-Mestra is open from early afternoon through the evening. When booking, you will reserve a specific time to play the game. Arrive 15 minutes before the start time to get settled, hear the instructions, and get ready to play. Latecomers will not be admitted.
About a mile from Chave-Mestra, you’ll find another quirky attraction: Santa's Village (Aldeia do Papai Noel), the only Christmas-themed amusement park in Brazil. The park, which is open all year round, features Bavarian-style buildings, a toy factory, and a monorail. It’s hillside location also offers great views of the Quilombo Valley.
