Day Trip in Colorado
Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak are stunning natural environments. Our tour guide Mason had a wealth of knowledge on the history of the area as well as a great sense of humor. My suggestion would be to make the trip an hour longer so we could have more time to explore the garden of the Gods and manitou springs.

Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods Tour from Denver
Lots of beautiful scenery. Wish we would have had more time at Garden of the Gods though. I would definitely recommend an oxygen canister that you can get from Walmart for those going to Pikes Peak especially if you have lung issues or previous Covid. The donuts up there were nothing special but you should probably try one for yourself. Overall, it was an amazing tour.

Jeep Tour - Foothills & Garden of the Gods
Our tour guide, Diamond Lil, was so knowledgeable and accommodating. The jeep was clean and comfortable. We got to see a lot in a couple of hours. We even made a few stops for pictures and other experiences. We will be doing the Pikes Peak or Bust tour next!

Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods Tour from Denver
Garden of the Gods was beautiful. Worth the trip alone. Pikes peak was a edge of your seat ride with beautiful views and unbelievable drop offs on the road up. The lunch was good we were paired with a great group. Michelle was very knowledgeable, she made the ride to more entertaining. She also kept us informed along the way so we knew what to expect.

How to Get There

The easiest way to visit the Garden of the Gods park is by car from Colorado Springs; the parking areas have more than 330 spaces, though they can fill up in summer. When to Get There

The Garden of the Gods is open and accessible year round, but the best time to visit is during the shoulder season—from September to April—when the weather is cooler, parking is easier to find, and there are fewer crowds. Arriving in the early morning or late afternoon means more shade on the trails and the chance to watch a spectacular sunrise or sunset.

How Did the Garden of the Gods Form?

The Garden of the Gods Visitor Center doubles as a natural and cultural history museum where visitors can learn about the geology, wildlife, people, and history of the park through a series of interactive exhibits. A highlight is the Geo-Trekker Theater, where a 15-minute video digs into the park’s history while offering amazing views from an aerial drone.
