A day of riding the two most famous mountains around Da Nang. We’ll follow the Cam Le river out of the City into open countryside and pass by huge, colourful cemeteries and temples. From there, we’ll visit Hill 55 Sniper Training School from the wartime. Next, we’ll ride over the Hai Van Pass, with plenty of photo stops as we go. After that is a ride around the beautiful Lang Co Lagoon before heading back over Hai Van Pass. We’ll enjoy a local lunch in Danang before making our way to Monkey Mountain. On Monkey Mountain we’ll find amazing roads with spectacular views at up to 700 m. Here there’s a good chance to see the rare breeds of langur monkeys if we’re lucky. After that, it’s back to base for a cold beer!

We travel by early morning train from Danang, and capture some of these mountain and seascapes from our window, as well as local life in the carriage.  Then we jump off at the tiny station of Lang Co, and head over to photograph the fishermen at work in this tranquil lagoon. PROGRAM : 7:30a.m : Our guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Hoi An or Da Nang City. Our route is over the Hai Van Pass and depending on time, we will have a brief stop there for you to take photos from this great vantage point. On arrival in Hue, we will take you to visit the Citadel, Hue’s prime attraction, which contains the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City and the Emperor’s Private Residence. Hue has been known as the Imperial City of the Nguyen Emperors rising to glory during their reign from 1803 – 1945. Next, we will visit the Thien Mu Pagoda considered by many as the unofficial symbol of Hue. Thien Mu is an active Buddhist monastery with origins dating back to 1601.a former monk who drove to Saigon and set himself alight to protest against the South Vietnamese regime.
