The whole day was amazing. It was a very packed day but everything we saw were beautiful. And the best part is our guide Nora. She told us about the history of the places, answered our questions, engaged us throughout the day. She was very accommodating and easy going. Thanks Nora for making it such a memorable day!

Gorges de verdon and blue lake fantastic scenery. Also small villages along the way. Lavender fields not in bloom but still worth seeing .

Georges is a knowledgeable and personable guide, but the members of our group were very frustrated that the tour was not as advertised. We made frequent stops at beautiful places, but were not given the choice to do so. As a result, the trip to Lac St Croix was less than 40 minutes (instead of 3 hours listed on the web) and there was no time to do what we came for - boating and water activities. We expressed before Moustiers St Marie that we wanted time for boating, but it did not seem important to the guide- he had another tour that evening and seemed to rush. It should have been explained to our group that our other stops were not part of the tour and time there would reduce our time at the lake, and all of us who came for water sports were very disappointed. It also should be outlined in your web info that boat companies require passport or photo ID to rent, and that there was a donation to required to view cascade sur loup so that guests are better prepared. A beautiful day to be sure, but it should have been billed as a le vars/Alpes de Provençe village tour with a stop at the Gorges, not as a Gorges de Verdon tour.

Loved it!!! Abdul was the sweetest host and drove us around and gave us a full explanation for all the Grand Canyon of Europe, the lavender fields, and all scenic sports! Moistures of Saint Marie and the whole gorges du vernon was beautiful to another level! I would recommend this everyone!

We had a wonderful time on our tour to the Verdon Gorge. We booked a private tour. Our guide provided lots of history along with other interesting information and let us dictate the flow of our day.

Scenery is excellent, A+. Little villages are nice stops, also. This was a trip that we would not have attempted as independent travelers with a rental car due to the switchbacks and rural setting. My only suggestion for improvement is that the guide, although friendly, acted entirely as a driver and provided no commentary - was not a professional guide, as anticipated. That aspect was disappointing and thus, I can't give the trip 5 stars.

Our guide was fantastic. I can’t remember her name but she was from Russian and has lived her over 20 years. She shared so much history of France and gave us beautiful memories.

This tour lived up to expectations and description. The visit to the L’Occitaine factory was interesting, a good amount of time. We were lucky to be there in the three weeks that the lavender was in bloom, and our guide took the trouble to stop at a particularly scenic spot for us to look at the lavender and sage and take photos. Moustiers was very picturesque. The views of the gorge and lake were breathtaking and our guide took us to a spot where we could get better views with few other tourists. It was a slightly challenging short walk (due to the rocky ground) to this viewpoint. Finally, we had enough time at the lake to have a swim and some hired a paddle boat - it was a very hot day and most welcome. There is nowhere private to change if you want to swim, and you need to take thongs or boat shoes because the shore is rocky. Overall a great day.

Our guide, Parfait, went over the limits to please us, since we did the tour late December when there are no lavenders. We saw some picturesque villages and he drove us extra to a chocolate factory and the Fragonard parfumery. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed the ride, all the villages were so picturesque and even though it wasn't the season for fully bloomed lavender, it was all worth it...And we had the best guide ever! Milles merci!

Tour was great and guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The guide was also very accommodating when it came to stopping for pictures etc. There's only 2 things that could be improved: which is that the online info said there would be time for lunch, but there wasn't really enough time in each place to go to a restaurant and the stops were not at times when restaurants were open. If this is the case, maybe it would be good to advice people prior to the tour to bring lunch. Secondly, we knew the lavender fields were not going to be in bloom during the time we went, but it doesn't seem right to me to advertise that as a main attraction when there is only a 3 week window where this is available. This may lead to others being disappointed.
