Here's everything you need to know to make the most of 24 hours in Bogotá.
Mundo Aventura Theme Park (Parque Mundo Aventura boasts more than 30 rides and attractions, which range from extreme thrill rides to family-friendly rollercoasters and log flumes. In classic carnival-style, the park has sideshows and traditional fairground rides. For younger children, there’s a ballpark, petting zoo, and several playgrounds.
Though entry to the park itself is free, you need to purchase a passport to gain access to separate attractions. Choose from a Titanium, Silver, or Infant admission ticket, each of which grants you access to a different selection of rides and attractions. There’s also the option to buy tickets for separate rides and to save time with skip-the-line passes. Some tours focus entirely on Bogota’s theme parks, which include Salitre Magico and Divercity.
From the historic center of Bogota, you can reach Mundo Aventura Theme Park (Parque Mundo Aventura) by bus; take the numbers 165, 271, C7, or P39 and disembark at the Avenida Boyaca stop following a 20-minute ride.
