Take the U Train: The Story of Berlin's Oldest Elevated Railway Line Audio Tour
This self-guided GPS audio tour tells the story of Berlin’s first “elevated U-Bahn line” known as Hochbahn Stammstrecke built by Siemens & Halske at the end of the 19th century.
The tour begins at the station “Warschauer Straße” in Friedrichshain and continues down Oberbaumbrücke, an 1896 bridge connecting Friedrichshain with Berlin-Kreuzberg and spanning the River Spree. Then it continues along the beautiful steel viaduct down Skalitzer Straße, Gitschiner Straße, Hallesches Ufer and Tempelhofer Ufer towards today's U-Bahnhof “Gleisdreick” where the eastern branch of the original elevated line ended.
You will need a valid BVG Day-Ticket or a single ticket (Einzelfahrschein) valid for 2 hours along a single route. Validate it before boarding the train and keep it on you for the whole tour. Do not throw the ticket away!
The audio plays automatically at exactly the right time and place using your smartphone's GPS and the VoiceMap mobile app, which also works offline.

Representing a New Germany: An Architectural Photography Audio Tour by VoiceMap
After the unification of Berlin, there was a short time of courage in which a new representation of the German democracy was built. This self-guided GPS audio tour shows the best perspectives on these new government buildings, and how to capture them in a short walk. A short description of the architecture will be given too.
There are two cool places to relax along the path, a modern one and a traditional one.
If you go down to the Spree river in front of the central station, a few meters from the station you will reach a "beach bar" where you can hang out listening to techno music. Don't forget to wave to the passing ships that are full of tourists.
Later on in the tour there is a traditional Biergarten where you can sit and have a beer and talk to each other. This is real German "Gemütlichkeit"!
The tour is ready whenever you are and the audio plays automatically at exactly the right time and place using your smartphone's GPS and the VoiceMap mobile app which also works offline.

Berlin's Centre - Explore the city's modern history with this audio walking tour
There are many facets to Berlin. It's a young city, it's a trendy city, it's a green one, a vibrant one, full of art and architecture, but most and foremost, it shaped 20th-century history like nothing else. This is what Jo Eckardt will show you in her self-guided GPS audio tour: the signs of history as it has taken place in the very sites you'll walkthrough.
You will follow the route of the Berlin Wall, stepping over it: into the East; into the West. You'll hear stories that immerse you in Berlin as it was in its darkest hour. You will see where the Nazis had their centre of power, and explore what remains of their architecture. You will remember the victims of their terror regime, and you will see how present-day Germany has reinvented itself.

Potsdam: Private Tour with a Vehicle – Time for Palace Entries Included!
Potsdam was a city of kings – a German Versaille where the Hohenzollern monarchy of Prussia constructed lavish palaces in which they could spend their summers. This 8-hour tour with a car takes you to Potsdam to experience the pomp and grandeur of Prussia and explore the origins of the Cold War. With your own private vehicle, you have the opportunity to explore much more of the UNESCO-listed palace gardens than would be possible by just walking.
As part of the tour you will also be able to enter both the Sanssouci and Cecilienhof palaces. Please be aware that palace entry costs are not covered as part of the tour and that you will be supplied with an audio guide for the duration of your visit to each palace.
