The Basics

Château Ksara visits generally begin with a short tour of the winery, progress into the Roman-era caves that hold wines from as far back as 1918, and finish with a tasting. Prices vary depending on the caliber and quantity of wines you taste. The in-house restaurant offers a short menu of international fare and a buffet, while the wine shop sells spirits as well as Ksara vintages.

Most travelers tour Château Ksara estate as part of a Bekaa Valley day trip from Beirut, with stops at the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Baalbek and Anjar. Dedicated wine-tasting tours are another popular option.

Amazing experience
This tour with Nakhal was amazing. It takes you to the breathtaking temples of Baalbek which is an absolute must if you visit Lebanon. The tour guide was very friendly and did a great job. The included lunch in Zahle was also very good.

Guided Private Full Day Tour to Baalbek, Anjar and Ksara with all entrance fees
Albert was a stellar guide on my experience in the Beqaa, including Anjar, Baalbek, and the Cava de Ksar winery. More than a guide, really—he provided reflections on the present and history of the sites, and also tirelessly responded to my many questions about Lebanese culture and history, and his own experience and memories. Thoughtful and insightful, he provided the best possible perspective for a trip to the Beqaa. Thoroughly professional, but so much more. Thanks, Albert!

Baalbek - Anjar - Ksara Trip From Beirut
All were fine. Car was comfy and Robin is extra professional driver and knowing guide. As I have tour in period of semi-suspense of tourism I was alone and can change destinations and make additions for the tour on my needs. And I can order another tours not listed in Viator. I highly recommend Zingyride operator for all who want tours in Lebanon.

Private Tour to Baalbek, Anjar and Chatea Ksara with all entrance fees included
It was a very exciting trip with nice guids. Baalbek is the most beautiful old roman monument in the world. In Anjar is also great memory and there was a excellent lunch. In Ksara we tasted great wines.

Small-Group Tour to Baalbek, Anjar and Ksara with Lunch and Tickets
Great trip to Baalbek to see the Roman ruins. Some of the buildings are down to rubble, but one temple has withstood the test of time. Definitely worth seeing. The lunch in Anjar was AMAZING! That restaurant was worth the price of admission. The winery in Ksara is a nice finishing touch to a great trip.

Winemaking in Lebanon

Grapes have grown and wines have been made in Lebanon for thousands of years. But the vintages you’ll taste at wineries such as Ksara, Kefraya, Musar, and Domaine des Tourelles owe their style to the influence of pioneering French winemakers, who began arriving in Lebanon around 1860. It was Jesuit priests who founded Château Ksara, in 1857.
