Fran Daurel Foundation (Fundacio Fran Daurel)
Explore works of contemporary Catalan art at the Fran Daurel Foundation (Fundació Fran Daurel). Located within the Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village) in Montjuïc, the museum is home to a permanent collection of more than 300 works, an outdoor sculpture garden with more than 40 sculptures, and frequent temporary exhibitions.
The Basics

See paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, ceramics, and tapestries by artists ranging from Picasso, Miró, and Dalí to more contemporary Catalan artists, such as Miquel Barceló, Jaume Plensa, and Miguel Rasero. An outdoor sculpture garden offers a lovely green space, and frequent temporary exhibitions round out the foundation’s offerings.
Combine a visit to the foundation with a stop at Poble Espanyol. For extra savings, book a combo ticket that includes the nearby National Art Museum of Catalonia (Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya). Easy to get in with ticket in advance. This time wanted to see the shop and get some souveniors, and food. We were there several years ago Viator set us up with dinner and Flamenco dancers. There was lots to see this visit. Stores were helpful very colorful and lots of people but did not feel crowded.

This was a waste of time, and I would recommend that you only book this if you have time to spare. The entire theme of this park is based on types off architecture in spain and I do not believe that this was worthwhile.

I enjoyed exploring this beautiful village with the audio and video guide. There were many nooks and crannies to visit and the photos I look were lovely. The tour took about 1- 1 1/2 hours. My only recommendation would be to offer head phones for guest as well. I felt a little self conscious with my audio and video guide as it played out load and I felt like it may have disrupted other visitor's peace as they had to listen to my english guide while they toured about.
