The Basics

A major landmark in Barcelona, the cathedral is featured on nearly every sightseeing excursion, from bicycle tours to tapas crawls. Worshipers can enter for free, while there’s a donation requested for cultural visits, as well as for access to the choir and rooftop terraces, which offer one of the best views over medieval Barcelona. Don’t miss a trip down to the crypt to see the tomb of Santa Eulalia and the reliefs depicting her martyrdom.

Fun way to see Barcelona
We had a great time. Michel was a good guide. Was a great tour through many parts of the city we had not been to on this trip or the previous. And Michel had new pieces of information about the places we had seen before.

Barcelona Old Town, The Gothic Quarter Private Tour with Hotel Pickup
We learned so much on this tour with Jorge from JC Tours! Hotel pick up made it easy for us. Jorge showed us important things along with historical information about the Gothic Quarter. He was enthusiastic and was able to answer our questions. We appreciate the pictures he showed us to give us a better understanding of the old city walls. Do this tour!

Barcelona Combo: Highlights Barcelona and Montserrat Sightseeing Tour
Great tour! Our tour guide was amazing! I highly recommend it. The views are stunning. I love that we had a two hour break in between the highlight tour and Montserrat to go grab lunch. The day was perfect. No complaints at all.

Barcelona Combo: Highlights Barcelona and Montserrat Sightseeing Tour
Going up to Monserrat and the beauty of the rock formations. We also enjoyed Mount Juic although there was a lot of walking and very hilly.

This was an excellent private tour. Jorge was so knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. He went out of his way to make us comfortable and walked at our pace. He explained everything in detail and was able to answer all sorts of questions. He provided historical insights and showed us locations that only locals would know about. I highly recommend you take this tour.

Barcelona Combo: Highlights Barcelona and Montserrat Sightseeing Tour
I would definitely recommend taking the tour of Monserrat. These mountains are amazingly different from any I’ve ever seen. Once at the top, of course the views are amazing.

Barcelona Highlights and Secrets. Private Tour with a tapa & drink included
We had 3 hours city tour with Jeronimo who is an excellent guide. We went to the most important places with enough degree of flexibility. Jeronimo showed continous friendliness and professionalism. We enjoyed the tour and we learned a lot. Thanks.

Barcelona Combo: Highlights Barcelona and Montserrat Sightseeing Tour
We enjoyed the overview of Barcelona which included a walking tour. Very Lovely. The Monserrat portion was extremely rushed. Directions were not very clear at times. Shops closed at 6 pm or just before. Recommend giving more time

Incredibly informative and interesting tour of places we would have otherwise missed

Barcelona Old Town, The Gothic Quarter Private Tour with Hotel Pickup
We had a fabulous time on this tour and saw so much that we would not have discovered on our own. The Tour guide (Jorge) was amazing-informative, interesting and incredibly gracious. My only regret is that I did not book the tour earlier in our trip because I would have used Jorge and his company for all our other visits to tourist attractions. Absolutely fabulous.

The Geese of Saint Eulalia

The palm-filled cloister of the Barcelona Cathedral is home to 13 special residents, a flock of geese that have been enjoying the garden and fountains since medieval days. The number of geese is believed to represent the age of Eulalia, the city’s patron saint, at the time she was martyred.
