It’s been named as one of the best rooftop bars in the world by many high-profile magazines and newspapers, and has won hospitality awards. Located in the Silom district, it has great views of the Chao Phraya River and the city. Most travelers visit the bar independently after a day of sightseeing in Bangkok.

Wildcard

A night out on Khao San Road If the Sky Bar isn’t your scene, check out the nightlife of Khao San Road instead. This short stretch of shops, hotels, bars, restaurants, and street food stands is the heart of Bangkok’s backpacker culture. It’s not upmarket, but Khao San Road is a great place to try Thai street food, shop for souvenirs, and drink beers or cocktails in bucket-sized proportions.
