During this unique experience you'll have the opportunity to get into nature, learn how to collect your own milk and make 2 kinds of cheese from start to finish. The workshop ends with a delicious brunch that includes the fresh cheeses made and lots more. The activities don't end there as you'll be taken further into the Troodos mountain villages to visit other local producers and the quaint village of Lefkara. During this afternoon of exploring you'll taste Cyprus olive oil, local honey, wine, traditional sweets, chocolates along with other traditional delicacies! See Cyprus off-the-beaten-path with this 4x4 adventure. You'll hop into a Land Rover Defender and head out to see sights such as a 17th-century chapel and an old copper mine, with plenty of time to go swimming in a mountain lagoon and wander the quaint streets of traditional villages, including Lefkara, known for its silver filigree work and lace production.

The trip includes some of the most important cultural attractions in Cyprus. It covers very different periods of Cyprus history (and culture) going back to neolithic times, medieval and modern. Passing through Walled Nicosia exposes the traveller to the complications of Cyprus and the current interaction between the two communities on the island.

On this day tour you’ll be driven around carefully selected villages to visit 5 traditional product workshops and taste a variety of Cypriot delicacies. You’ll learn about the sourcing of ingredients, the making process and the traditions linked to the products. You'll experience foods such as halloumi, honey, wine, traditional sweets and more! Part of our touring will be a visit to Lefkara village where you’ll see the local ladies making the famous Cyprus lace plus time to shop & explore. Along the way we’ll stop at a village tavern to enjoy an authentic meze lunch – a spread of delicious Cypriot dishes. Any applicable entrance fees, tasting fees, door-to-door transport, meze lunch with bottled water and wine are all included in the tour price.

You'll be picked up from a location of your choice taken into the Troodos mountain villages for this 5hr half-day tour. Once in the mountains our first stop will be the quaint village of Lefkara where you’ll have a chance to wonder the cobbled streets and take in the picturesque experience. During our time in Lefkara you'll experience fantastic photo opportunities, we'll see the village ladies making their famous lace products, try the traditional sweets and see the sites. At the end of our walk, we'll sit down for a coffee and traditional snack in the village square to relax and watch the world go by. We'll then head to the nearby village of Kato Drys where we'll visit a family-owned, boutique winery where you’ll enjoy a tour of the facility and wine tasting. Here you'll learn all about the indigenous grape varieties, try the famous sweet wine of Cyprus and have the chance to buy local wines at excellent prices!

Explore the beautiful villages and landscapes of interior Cyprus with this safari tour from Ayia Napa.
