We will begin at our shop in North Asheville as the sun gets low in the sky. After we take some time to get custom sized and aquatinted with the e bikes we will set out on our ride up the beautiful mountains that surround Asheville. We will climb up to a breathtaking overlook where we will stop for some refreshments as the light grows long in the Asheville valley down below. During this time of day, much of the wildlife in Asheville is the most active, and we will be sure to take our time enjoying any of the diverse critters who may cross our path during our ride. After stopping by the historic veranda at the Grove Park Inn, we will conclude watching the last rays of sun fade over Southern Appalachia from a local Asheville brewery.

River Arts District Tip-Based Sightseeing Walking Tour

River Arts District Tip-Based Sightseeing Walking Tour

star-4.5
21
For years, the River Arts District or "RAD," has been a popular spot for visitors; however, many guests arrive with the question: "What do we do once we arrive?" In response, I created a tour that would hit the highlights and provide my guests with a hands-on RAD experience they would not forget! Starting at Magnetic Theatre, we will walk down Depot Street to learn about the history of the RAD, the artists and visit ONE gallery! We stop at the Grind Coffee for a taste of local brews, tour the historical Grey Eagle Music Venue and taste Taqueria snacks, view a glass blowing demonstration at the NC Glass Center. Then walk alongside the river, learning stories about the legends of the French Broad and what activities you can do on the river post-tour! The shorter, 11 am tour, will taste gelato and finish at cotton mill. The 2pm tour will finish on Foundy Street to learn about the graffiti in the area and taste some local wine at Pleb or beer at the wedge brewery. About 3 a mile walk
